Welcome to Keeler Township Fire and Rescue Homepage

We have been dedicated to the service and protection of the residents and visitors in our area since we were organized in August of 1947. We are a rural area with a small town, a small town attitude and big dreams. When our department started it consisted of 1 truck, 3 officers and 6 firemen. Since then we have grown to have 3 trucks, 1 grass rig and 1 Quick Response vehicle. The grass rig and QR rig were put together by the members of our department. We now have 15 members, 3 cadets and a bunch of future firefighters in the making in our 60th year in service to our community. Last year we started a Medical First Responder team and it is going quite well.
